And the first building we’re creating is… 🏋️🐹 the Hamsters GYM!
So how does it work?
You contribute eligible items requested by the current Recipe — these can include things like:
⛏️ Miners
🗄️ Racks
🐹 Hamsters (not now but maybe yes later)
📦 Special event resources
In return, you receive Grand Building Points (GBPoints).
⚠️ But be careful: when you press Build, the items you contribute are permanently consumed. Are actually burned. That's why grand building is in my mind actually a burning event with its burning race, lasting longer.
Your GBPoints can normally do 3 things at the same time:
✅ Increase the server’s Building Progress
🏆 Increase your position on the Stage Leaderboard
🎁 Progress your BuildPass
The whole construction is divided into 4 Stages.
Each Stage has its own Leaderboard, so when one Stage reaches 100%, that leaderboard ends, rewards are distributed, and everyone starts from zero again for the next Stage.
So you have 4 chances to win something valuable. Maybe for smalles accounts is to hold their fires in one stage to go all in at one only stage, or two.
But your BuildPass does NOT reset, it continues through all 4 Stages.
And here comes one VERY important detail:
🚨 Each Stage has a GLOBAL GBPoints limit shared by the entire server.
Before that limit is reached:
GBPoints = Building Progress + Leaderboard + BuildPass
After the limit is reached:
GBPoints = BuildPass ONLY
You can still contribute items after the cap… and those items will still be consumed… but your points will NOT increase the building progress or your Stage Leaderboard score anymore.
So if your goal is the Leaderboard, always check the Stage progress before sacrificing valuable items.
If your goal is completing the BuildPass, however, contributing after the limit can still make sense.
And speaking of the BuildPass…
⚠️You need to complete the ENTIRE BuildPass to receive its rewards.
If it has 40 levels and you finish at 39/40…
you get NO BuildPass rewards. There are no partial rewards.
And even after completing it, you still need to claim the rewards manually.
There’s also a new event resource called the 🍱 Lunch Box, which can be obtained through activities such as Puzzle, Progression, Forge, Burning, Resource Well and offers.
Lunch Boxes are specifically used for Grand Building Recipes, and any unused ones expire when the event ends.
For Stage 1 alone, the server needs a massive:
🏗️ 150,000,000 GBPoints
to complete the first construction phase.
And the biggest strategy question may be: What items are actually worth sacrificing for GBPoints?
Personally, I would like to see the details, the numbers, to make my calculations to see if it is worth it for me, or up to which point.
I suggest you to do the same. Don't go all in. Don't burn (sorry, contribute I wanted to say) evrything you have for maybe good miner which will be useless in 2 months.
Everyone wants the same building completed (namely)... but at the same time, we’ll all be fighting for those Leaderboard positions. 😅
I’ll definitely be watching the Recipes and point values carefully before throwing my miners into the construction site. 😂
